Introduction

The issue of data has not been properly explained. Growing up, we were taught that a computer is an electronic device that accepts data, stores data and produces it as information. But many don’t really understand what the term Data is.

In fact, many so-called 21st-century internet users in our region think of data only as the medium given by network-providing companies to gain access to the internet which is usually in bytes. Data can exist in a variety of forms - as numbers or text on pieces of paper, as bits and bytes stored in electronic memory, or as facts stored in a person's mind. Since the mid-1900s, people have used the word data in reference to computer information that is transmitted or stored.

Why Is Data So Important?

I would just state a few why data is essential and why serious emphasis should be put on understanding data.

Data Is equalled to knowledge:

The more data you have, the more knowledge you have, I can say data is synonymous with knowledge. Data is history or data can tell history: Using enough data, one can predict the history of a particular company, person, location, animal etc.

Data is the future:

With the help of big data, predictions have reason from a very significant amount to a very high percentage, sometimes even up to 95%. every prediction is made by studies of previous data.

Data is power:

Looking at every superpower, from World powers to tech giants to every single power holder. What made it possible is data. The ability to understand data, mine data and process it into information gives you power. That is why Facebook has so much power, because of the data She has.

##Data improves people's lives: Vaccines, Medicine and treatments are easily administered or found or created through the proper use and study of data. In some cases, an illness or disease can be predicted with the help of data.

Decision-making:

Data helps you make better decisions as a person, and as an entrepreneur and also data helps in problem-solving.

Having enough data about a participation subject gives you an edge. With the advancement in technology, data is now easy to get, understand and process, then why are we not improving at a very fast rate?

The answer is... We are not exploiting data issues well enough and are not fully aware of the POWER OF DATA.

It will be of great help if it is correctly emphasised at a primary level of our education and career. Someone said We all can’t be data scientists. Learning how data works doesn’t make you a data scientist likewise knowing how to cook doesn’t make a chef or knowing how to code doesn’t make you a software engineer.

It's a process and it gives you a better understanding of life and the opportunity to become better and a problem solver.
